Keep your undies on and get comfy under the sheet. If you're more comfortable leaving on a bra or other undergarments, just let us know!
Draping with a sheet is part of every session, and you can expect direct skin to skin contact on your back, neck, arms and hands, shoulders, calves and thighs, and feet.
Hip muscles and other large muscle groups are very easily accessed through the sheet and do not require skin to skin contact.
Please, do NOT ask for no draping and/or skin contact to anything a swim suit would cover.
Each person has a different tolerance for pressure in therapeutic massage. If anything is painful, tender, or uncomfortable in any way, please speak up! That means if anything is intense enough to make you want to hold your breath, tense up, or pull away, that means i need to change what I'm doing. I can generally sense that 'line' or threshold, and adjust accordingly. I want you to have the most beneficial massage possible.
You, as the client, should expect your dignity and privacy to be respected. If you have any particular areas that you aren't comfortable with me touching during the massage, please let me know upfront and don't be scared to let me know if anything hurts or you change your mind about a body area during the massage.
I can assure you that I have worked on people with varying body types and sizes, including skin with cellulite, spider veins, acne, various amounts of hair, and more. Fat or thin, short or tall, my priority is that you are treated with care and consideration during all of your services in my space.
My massage table is rated for up to 550 pounds.
After a massage you will feel relaxed, and possibly light-headed. Make sure to sit up from the table slowly as you get your bearings.
Stay well hydrated after your massage, and avoid strenuous exercise for 24-48 hours to allow your muscles time to repair. You may feel sore for a few days but should notice improved range of motion, better sleep, and reduced pain in any acute areas that were worked on during the massage.
